What first got you into radio and when?
I started in 1983. My best friend went to school for radio so I thought it sounded like a good career. I studied Radio and Television Broadcasting at Butler University in Indianapolis. Graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in 1987. First job was at WFBQ/Indianapolis.
What is the most useless talent you Have?
My handyman skills around the house are pretty useless.
Do you sing in the shower and what song?
I do enjoy singing, but I usually don’t in the shower.
If it wasn’t radio, what would you be doing right now?
Teaching
Who is your favorite artist?
Rush (and Picasso)
What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
The non-disclosure agreement I signed forbids me from discussing the matter.
What is the best advice you’ve been given and who gave it to you?
When you become the program director, you can change the music. Stan Main, Program Director at WCMF/Rochester.
If you could wave a magic wand what would you change.
I’d make everything alright.
