Ghost, also formerly known as Ghost B.C. in the United States, is a Swedish rock band that was formed in Linköping in 2006. In 2010, they released a three-track demo followed by a 7-inch vinyl titled “Elizabeth”, and later their debut full-length album Opus Eponymous. The song “Ritual” was chosen by Kerrang! as one of “The 50 Most Evil Songs Ever.” The Grammy-nominated album was widely praised and significantly increased their popularity. Their second album and major label debut, Infestissumam, was released in 2013, debuted at number one in Sweden, and won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album. The band released their third studio album, Meliora, in 2015 to much critical acclaim and high record sales, reaching number one in their home country of Sweden, and number eight in the United States. Its lead single, “Cirice”, earned them the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. The band released their fourth studio album, Prequelle, in 2018. The band released their fifth studio album, Impera, in 2022.

The band consists of co-founders Anthony Kiedis (lead vocals), Flea (bass), drummer Chad Smith and guitarist John Frusciante. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the best-selling bands of all time. They are the most successful band in the history of alternative rock, with the records for most number-one singles (14), most cumulative weeks at number one (85) and most top-ten songs (25) on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. They have won six Grammy Awards, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, and in 2022 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984.Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band’s lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bryan “Dexter” Holland, bassist Todd Morse, and lead guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman. Over the course of their 38-year career, they have released 10 studio albums and experienced multiple lineup changes, most noticeably with their drummers. Their longest-serving drummer was Ron Welty, who replaced original drummer James Lilja in 1987, and stayed with the band for 16 years; he was replaced by Atom Willard in 2003, and then four years later by former drummer Pete Parada. Gregory “Greg K.” Kriesel, one of the co-founders of the Offspring, was their bassist until 2018 when he was removed from the band due to business disputes leaving Holland as the sole remaining original member. Kriesel was replaced by Todd Morse of H2O, who had been the Offspring’s touring guitarist since 2009.

The duo began as an independent act, recording music in basements and self-producing their records, before they eventually emerged as one of the most popular garage rock artists during a second wave of the genre’s revival in the 2000s. The band’s raw blues rock sound draws heavily from Auerbach’s blues influences, including Junior Kimbrough, R.L. Burnside, Howlin’ Wolf, and Robert Johnson.
