Credit: Frank MaddocksSystem of a Down‘s upcoming pair of Los Angeles stadium shows with support from Korn and Faith No More have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The concerts were scheduled to take place at L.A.’s Banc of California Stadium on May 22 and 23. The bill also included the bands Helmet and Russian Circles.
“We deeply appreciate your patience, and when we have a better idea of social gathering guidelines, we will confirm and announce the rescheduled dates,” SOAD says in a statement. “In the meantime, please stay safe.”

In related news, System frontman Serj Tankian has released a new solo song called “Hayastane” to raise money for COVID-19 relief in Armenia. The track, which features lyrics written by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, was released last Friday on the 105th anniversary of the Armenian genocide.
