Santiago Bluguermann/LatinContent via Getty ImagesRammstein frontman Till Lindemann is reportedly in the intensive care unit of a Berlin hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 coronavirus.
The German publication Bild reports that the 57-year-old musician, who was touring with his band Lindemann as recently as last week, was admitted to the hospital with an “extremely high fever,” and then quarantined in the ICU when he tested positive for the virus.
According to Bild, Lindemann is currently not facing any “danger to life.”
Rammstein’s U.S. rep offered no comment when contacted by ABC Audio.
Rammstein is scheduled to launch the band’s first-ever North American stadium tour in August.
