Gabe Ginsberg/Getty ImagesBad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext has denied allegations that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend, personal trainer Whitney Johns.
According to court documents obtained by the site MetalSucks, Johns accused Vext, born Thomas Cummings, of physically assaulting her four different times, both during and after their relationship.
MetalSucks also reports that Johns filed for a restraining order in April 2020, which forbids Vext from contacting or coming within 100 yards of her.
On Tuesday night, Vext tweeted that the allegations were “fake AF news.”
“Not even worth addressing this fake news bs,” he added.
On Wednesday, MetalSucks obtained an official statement from Vext, which reads, “The allegations made against me by my former girlfriend are not true.”
“Given the ongoing civil dispute between us, I am not at liberty to say any more at this time,” the statement continues. “I look forward to resolving this matter in court.”
