Zappo ProductionsThe Shins frontman James Mercer guests on a new song from singer-songwriter and onetime Grateful Dead keyboardist Bruce Hornsby.
The track is called “My Resolve,” and will be included on Hornsby’s upcoming album, Non-Secure Connection, due out August 14.
In a statement, Hornsby calls “My Resolve” a “Sisyphean tale of the creative life, sung with a fellow climber.”
Last fall, Mercer and producer Danger Mouse released a new Broken Bells song called “Good Luck.” The most recent Shins album is 2017’s Heartworms.
